A few months ago it was rumored that there was a Kim Kardashian sex tape lying around somewheree. A couple days ago it was confirmed that there was indeed a sex tape and today Vivid Entertainment had announced it had acquired the rights to the sex tape and will release it on February 29. First off I would like to say that Kim Kardashian is fucking hot and I cant wait to get my hands on that tape. All things aside, whats up with all these whores and celebrities and sex tapes. Pam Anderson set the standard, then it was Gina Lee Nolin, Colin Farell, Chyna, Screech, Keeley Hazell, Abi Titmuss and so many more. Im not complaining or anything but I wouldnt doubt there being a surge of other celebrity sex tapes being released in the near future either to revive onself from d-list stigma or to bolster some sort of publicity campaign. At the same time society seems to be ok with it….like it doesnt seem to be taboo anymore…. which could be a good thing for the porno industry. 10-20 years ago porn was taboo and the mainstream media didnt want anything to do with it. Now, movies are being made about pornstars and pornstars are reaching celebrity status with the likes of Britney Spears, Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie. Ask anyone now if they know who Jenna Jameson is and they can probably tell you the last two movies she’s been in and who shes going out with. Ultimately this can go two ways…the compelete and utter breakdown of the moral fabric of society, where deviant behavior runs rampant or the sexual liberation of an entire nation where the sexually repressed are freed from their chains and a society where tolerance for differences is embraced. Im hoping for the latter but im thinking the former would be more fun.
